This weekend the boyfriend and I purchased "Roger and ME," which is Michael Moore's first feature-length documentary about a bastard corporation doing bastardly things. I could go on and on about how General Motors, at the command of Roger Smith, exploited and then abandoned thousands of people in order to make a larger profit for himself and his shareholders; accomplished by further exploiting people, only this time in a different country where General Motors wouldn’t be bothered by pesky unions and labor laws. Instead, I would like to say that Bob Eubanks is not only a sexist but a racist as well. I will not repeat here the racist joke that Mr. Eubanks found so funny but I will say that I took great offense to it. What is amusing about this documentary is that many well-known celebrities underestimated the distribution of this film as well as the future popularity of Michael Moore and as a result they spoke to him with complete honesty and candor about the issues, which ended up making them look like complete assholes. Not that Anita Bryant needs any help looking like an asshole.
