Sowing Seeds
The botanical garden at my university is offering access to free organic vegetable beds to anyone who wants to grow some veggies for their enjoyment. Well, being the aspiring gardener (and veggie loving vegetarian) that I am I’m going to go over today and reserve my bed of dirt. I’ve never planted a vegetable garden before but I’ve seen it done on TV and my grandfather is quite a proficient gardener so I figure there has to be some of that green thumb in my blood. I do have some experience growing herbs at home (No, not the smoking kind Cheech). Anyway, I’m anxious to get down and dirty and plant me some spinach that doesn’t come with the unfortunate side effect of bleeding orifices. If anyone would like a box of home grown tomatoes let me know. I’ll hook you up.
